KiiCS is a three-year European Commission-funded project (2012-2014) coordinated by Ecsite, the European network of science centres and museums. It aims build bridges between arts, science and technology by giving evidence of the positive impacts of their interaction for creativity as well as for triggering interest in science.

Science Center NEMO is happy to announce the launch of the ESERO website, www.esero.nl. ESERO is an education project of the European Space Agency. This new website is full of educational resources on space for schools. The website is targeted both to primary and secondary education. At the moment 16 teaching materials for primary schools are published. This amount will grow in the near future. The teaching materials for primary education come from the ESERO resource book previously developed by NEMO : “A journey through space in 80 lessons”.

The Planetarium Science Center has celebrated its sixth Science Festivity, under the theme: Natural Sciences, Sun and Earth, which was a huge success. there were around 5,000 visitors over the 2 days of the festivity, most of which were school students, who enjoyed the interactive workshops, and scientific displays presented at the participants’ booths. In addition to the famous Super Science Show, presented by the PSC animators, the World Park, also presented by PSC animators, and a puppet show atthe Conferences Center Small Theatre.
