Ecsite Annual Conference

The Ecsite Annual Conference is the most prominent meeting of science communication professionals in Europe, bringing together 1,000 professionals in the field. Ecsite members attend this event at reduced rates and often take part as speakers or convenors in the conference sessions.

In 2010, the Ecsite Annual Conference meets the European Capital of Culture in Dortmund, Germany’s green metropolis. The Conference is hosted by DASA, from 3 to 5 June 2010.

Ecsite and the host organisation of the Annual Conference 2008, the Hungarian Natural History Museum, welcomed 797 participants during the three days of the most important European meeting of science centre and museum professionals.

The Ecsite Annual Conference was hosted by the National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci”, Italy’s largest science and technology museum.

The 18th Ecsite Annual Conference took place in the legendary capital of Portugal – Lisbon from 31st of May to 2nd of June. The Ecsite AC2007 was attended by 923 participants from 55 countries in Europe and worldwide.

June 8 2006 - June 10 2006

The Ecsite Annual Conference 2006 was held from the 8 to 10 June 2006, and was hosted by Technopolis, the Flemish Science Centre in Mechelen, Belgium. The Annual Conference 2006 brought together 713 delegates from 40 countries.
