With a master’s degree in geology and in astrophysics, I have been involved in scientific communication since 1985, first at Cité des sciences in Paris as explainer, then Planetarium Director assistant. In 1996, I moved to Cité de l’espace Toulouse as Planetarium Director, then Exhibitions Director in 2005, also in charge of the Imax and two planetarium programs and International Relations. Engaged since the beginning of my career in the different science communication networks (APLF, Ecsite, IPS, GSCA), I worked to bring to Toulouse international conferences such as the Ecsite conference in 2012 and the next International Planetarium Society conference in July 2018, for the first time in France. I am co-chairing the Space group within Ecsite, a thematic group I co-founded with ESA in 2012.

Astrophysicist by training, I have a long strong experience in communication and public relations. In the last 10 years I had the opportunity to work on many international projects involving different actors: the European Space Agency, National Space Agencies, industries, European scientific institutions and museums. These gave me the opportunity to work within multi-skilled and multi-cultural teams, developing skills in communication and building fundamental working methods to complement my scientific background. I believe that communication is essential to educate different target audiences about space exploration and to inspire the young generation with creativity and innovation.
