Crime Scene Investigation / Tatort / Moordzaken
A murder has been committed! Visitors, on their own or in teams, become detectives responsible for solving the case. They set out looking for clues, visiting the different sections of the exhibition, from the scene of the crime to the autopsy-room and the archives, and conducting analyses in the ballistic, genetic, biometric, fibre analytic and chromatographic laboratories.
Everywhere they go, the ‘detectives’ listen to testimony, find clues and carry out analyses, to enable them to gather enough information to arrest the criminal. They follow trails and keep track of their findings in a special notebook. When they believe they have solved the mystery, they validate their suspicions – and if they have managed to pin the crime on the right suspect, they get to attend the murderer’s confession!
Interactive exhibition about forensic research. Background information outlining the crime and presenting the three suspects. Officer Nelson gives visitors their assignment to play the role of chief inspector!
Exhibit media: Video, screen and space for 40 visitors, and special notebooks to be handed out.
The exhibition is designed to appeal to ages 8 and up. It is suited to both children and adults.
Complete educational program available.
The entire exhibition is in both English and an optional language.
