Thousands of visitors discover the mystery of the senses in Granada

At the same time as the European Science Week was taking place, Parque de las Ciencias organised guided visits, workshops, dialogue and hands-on activities around the ERC=Science² stand to present the European Research Council (ERC) funded research on sensory experience.

From November 14-19, Parque de las Ciencias attracted more than 12.000 visitors and was able to engage people with the latest scientific discoveries on sensory perception.

About 350 people participated in the workshops that were organised throughout the week, 60 attended the Science Café activity with ERC grantee Susana Marcos, who presented her research on Presbyopia, while 50 students attended the FabLab activity and had the opportunity to try the Myo bracelet, which helps control prosthetic arms.
