Ecsite is an international non-profit organization whose European dimension is clearly reflected in every aspect of the structure and organisation.
Ecsite Board
The European dimension of the Ecsite network is reflected in the composition of its governing body and advisory structures, where more than 10 European nationalities are represented at any given time.The Ecsite Board is the governing body of Ecsite. It is composed of elected representatives from Full Member institutions who serve for a two-year period.
Executive Office
A small multinational team of professionals coordinates the network’s activities, keeps the information flow active among members, provides services to the members, is an active contributor to European projects and organises the Annual Conference in collaboration with the hosting institution.
Statements & positions
Ecsite holds a strong advocacy role for the field of science centres and museums. As part of this role, position papers and declarations have been drawn up in order to state the network’s position on a range of issues.
